 Star Cinema, an ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. is launching the movie entitled “My only U” in Philippine theaters on October 29, 2008 starring Toni Gonzaga & Vhong Navarro, directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
The movie is a drama comedy love story where the woman (Toni), is expected to die at age 25. Toni was diagnosed with the disease Lupus by her doctor played by Benjie Paras. Toni wears a wig in the movie which we think portrayed hair loss, one of the many symptoms of the dreadful disease.
This movie will help the advocacy of Lupus, make people aware, and better understand what Lupus patients face in the course of the disease and how it affects their lives in a dramatic and funny approach delivered by top Filipino artists.
